Under the supervision of expert ayurvedic practitioners, we at Ananya have a host of Ayurvedic treatments to ensure that your stay is truly a relaxing one.

Some of the specialized treatments undertaken by the physicians and therapists at Ananya are:

Abhyangam :- Here, the prescribed medicated herbal oil is applied to the body and head of the guest and gently rubbed in, allowing the body to fully soak in the medicated properties of the oil. When done daily, Abhyanga and Snana help alleviate fatigue, delays ageing, gives clarity to sight, helps in getting good sleep, improves the skin texture, skin colour and skin strength.

Udvarthanm :- Udvarthanam is the application of herbal powder on the body. It can be either mixed with oil or buttermilk or medicated juice or applied directly. This treatment tones up the body, removes excessive fat, thus making the body feel lighter and active. Following Udvarthanam is Snana- bath which is given using a green gram wrap and warm water for the body and lukewarm water for the head.

Abhyangam with Nasyam :- Nasyam is instillinfg 2 drops of prescribed medicated oil in each nostril, which is then inhaled. This helps to clear the nasal channels of excessive phlegm and consequently prevents phlegmatic conditions associated with the sinuses etc.

Dinacharya or Daily Care Routine:- This is of 45 minute duration and includes the following components: DantaDhavana- rubbing the teeth with medicated herbal powder which is good for oral hygiene etc. Anjana- application of collyrium in the eyesto keep it healthy. Nasya- this helps to clear the nasal channels. Gandoosha- this strengthens the gums and teethand is good for oral hygiene. Dhoomapana- inhalation of medicated smoke, again done to prevent diseases of the ear, nose and throat regions. Abhyanga- as mentioned earlier.

Muka Lepam :- Muka Lepam is very good for the health of the face including the skin colour and texture. It also prevents the development of acne and other problems associated with the skin on the face.

Siro Abhyangam :- This is good to reduce/prevent falling, greying and thinning of hair. It is especially recommended for women. It also relieves sleeplessness and calms down the aggravated nervous system.

All these treatments are highly effective and are aimed to give the guest the best result.under the watchful eyes of experienced physicians and expert therapists, these treatments will be quite a new experience, which is sure to bring changes to one’s life.

Accommodation

The first phase of the resort offers a group of elegantly built individual cottages and the second phase would consist of individual rooms - all offering a breathtaking view of nature in her pristine glory.

Each cottage has a bedroom, sitting room and an enclosed verandah which offers a magnificent view of the surrounding hills. The cottages are bath attached with 24 hour hot and cold water supply and ensures the maximum security and privacy

Cottage Description

Deluxe cottage - The deluxe cottage has 1 large bedroom having 2 beds, a small bedroom having 1 bed, a sitting room having 2 diwans (convertible into beds at night) and an enclosed foyer.The cottage has an attached bathroom.

Standard cottage - The standard cottage has a large bedroom with 2 beds, a living room with 2 diwans (convertible into beds at night) and also an enclosed foyer. The cottage has an attached bathroom.
