Welcome
to Herbal Nest. We are a Bed and Breakfast (also known as
Homestay). We are centrally located in Sulthan Bathery,
Wayanad District, Kerala India. We treat each of guests as
an Adhidhi; a honored guest and friend. We are not a
traditional hotel, we do not want to be one. We want to
give each of our guests a unique experience. With this in
mind, we only have limited accommodations. In addition to
guest accommodations, we are also a practicing ayurveda
center. We have several ayurveda treatments available
under the supervision of a board certified ayurveda
doctor. |

Wayand is the one of the
most picturesque, yet unspoilt tourist locations in
Kerala. Wayanad is at an altitude of about 800m above sea
level, and offers calm, unspoilt, atmosphere, that can
enjoyed year around. |

LOCATION:
Located between the North Latitude 1102’ and 15058’ and
East Longitude  75047’
and 70027’, district of Wayanad is on the southern tip of
the Deccan plateau. To it’s North and east, it borders the
Karnataka district of Coorg and Mysore. Further to the
southeast lies the Nilgiri of Tamil Nadu. |

Facilities
According

heals but also give health. Since Ayurveda treats man as a
whole, concidering not only body, but also soul , Indian

Njavarakizhi: Body
Massage with Njavara Rice for 7, 14 or 21 days.
Udhvartanam: Rubbing body with medical power for 7,
14 or 21 days.
Podikizhi: Body massage with medical powder in
bolus for 7, 14 or 21 days.
Nasyam: Applying
Medicine Through nostrils for 7 days.
Tharpanam: Applying medicated ghee in eyes for 5
days.
Abyangam: Body massage with medicated oil for 7, 14
or 21 days.
Pizhichil: Pouring warm oil all over body for 7, 14
or 21 days.
Dhara: Applying medicated water all over the body
with cloth for 7, 14 or 21
days.
Sirodhara: Applying oil/medicated butter milk on
forehead for 7, 14 or 21 days. INR

Vasthi: Enema with medicine
Shirovasthi: Allowing oil to stay on head with a cap for 7
days.
Avogaham: Spiral bath in medicated water for 7, 14
or 21 days.
Kati Vasti: Allowing oil to stay on back with a
barrio 7, 14 or 21 days.
Ksheeradoomam: Fomentation with cow’s milk for 7
