Kairali
Ayurvedic Health Resort is dedicated to bringing tyou the

this Ayurvedic health system has had wide acceptance both
as a general health and rejuvenation plan which are

treatments are carried out under the guidance and
supervision of well qualified and experienced Ayurvedic
doctors.
Ayurveda is the
knowledge that indicates the appropriate and
inappropriate, happy or sorrowful conditions of living,
what is auspicious or inauspicious for longevity, as well
as the measure of life itself. Ayur means life and Veda
means knowledge, so Ayurveda means the knowledge about
science of life. Ayurveda was derived from the most
cherished scriptures known as Vedas. They are Rig, Sama,
Yajur and Atharvana vedas.

have following ayurveda treatments Abhyanga
- General Massage: The person undergoing massage is made
to sit on the Droni (a wooden plank specially made for the
massage). Two masseurs  stand
on either side of the person, and apply herbal oil on the
head and massage gently. This massaging is continued on
the neck ears, shoulders, chest and back. After this, the
person is made to lie on the back and the massage is
continued from shoulder to toe, shifting the person on his
right side and left side, on his stomach and again made to
lie down on his back, finally in the sitting position,
General Massage (Abhyanga) has been found very effective,
for vigor and vitality, cure of rheumatism, good eye
sight, longevity, sound sleep, glowing skin These massages
are also a preventive medicine in short it rejuvenates the
body and maintains the physique. . Pizhichil
- Special Massage: This is one of the special massage for
rejuvenating the whole body. The prescribed oil is applied
on the head. The whole body is smeared with the medicated
oil. In this treatment the patient is made to lie on a
wooden Droni (a wooden bed specially designed for the
purpose). Then pieces of linen dipped in warm medicated
oil is squeezed over on to the patient's body. Massaging
the body with the hand all the time. The massage is very
slow and light without exerting much pressure. This
massages will protect you from illnesses and build up your
immunity for a healthy life. It is also good rheumatic
diseases, blood pressure, pain in the joints and diabetes.
Navarakizhi - Special Massage: Navarakizhi is giving
massage to the body with small linen bags filled with
cooked Navara rice after liberal application of medicated
oil over the whole body. The rice is cooked in cow's milk
mixed with certain herbal decoction. These bags are dipped
in the same mixture and applied over the whole body of the
patient. The bags are neither to be too hot nor cold.
After wiping the body with a dry towel, the medicated oil
is again applied. The course is for 14 days to 21 days. It
is one of the most excellent form of treatments to impart
luster to the skin and nourish the body through the skin.
It also cures various ailments.
Dhara: After a liberal application of the medicated
oil on the head and body, the patient is made to lie
supine on wooden bed, his neck and head placed in a
comfortable position. A nonstop, continuous stream of the
medicine (medicated oil, herbal decoction, milk or other
materials) is made to drop gently on the forehead from a
particular height through a specially made apparatus.
After the treatment the head is fully dried with towel and
again oil is applied to the head. This treatment is also
done for the whole body and for a particular part of the
body depending on the ailment. It promotes rejuvenating,
revitalize human mind and body for diminishing the effect
of aging. This is a special massage therapy for stress and
strain.
Sirovasti: Keeping the prescribed medicated oil at
a bearable temperature on the head by fitting a leather
cap around it is Sirovasti. The course of treatment is
effective for sinus, migraine, deafness diseases affecting
cranial nerves, facial paralysis, insanity diseases of
head and eyes, chronic cold, sinusitis, also for
rheumatism arthritis abscesses, wounds etc. in fact it is
good for all diseases.
Elakizhi (Patraswedam): Herbal poultices (bundles)
are prepared with various herbs and medicated powder.
These poultices are warmed in medicated oils and the whole
body is massaged with the same, on the neck, shoulders
hands and back shifting the person from side to side. This
massage can promote better circulation within the affected
area thereby promoting the increased perspiration which
helps the skin to climate wastes. It also helps to improve
the skin tone and can be superbly relaxing.
Nasyam: The patient's upper body from shoulders up
is massaged and made to perspire. The medicine in exact
doze is measured and poured into the nostrils which is
blown in while the patient draws it. During the process
the area around the nose, neck, shoulders, palm & feet are
rubbed. This is very effective in ailments like sinusitis,
migraine, chronic cold and chest congestion.
Talapotichil (Head Pack): Herbal oil is applied on
the head and massaged. Varti is tied round the head and
thereafter the herbal paste is applied with uniform
thickness all over. After 45 minutes the paste is removed
and the head is wiped clean. This treatment is very good
in case of hair falling, dandruff, graying, insomnia, low
BP and chronic sinus.
Massage of the head: Kairoil is applied to the head
which gets absorbed deep into the scalp through the roots
of the hair which nourishes, lubricates and strengthens
the hair roots and the scalp; preventing hair loss,
premature greying, activates pituitary glands, head aches,
improves memory and relaxes the muscles of the face.
Beauty Care
Facial Massage: Kaircin is used for the face. This
oil nourishes and cleanse the tissues to make the
complexion glossing and youthful smoothness, wrinkles and
develops beauty.
Face Pack: After the facial massage Kairali's face
pack is applied and can be left on till the full body
massage is complete. This makes the skin soft and glossy.
Kairali's Eye Care Treatment: Tharpanam: This is
allowing classified butter to stagnate in the eyes by
which optic nerves is strengthen and eyesight is improved.
